The January Report

Last time I posted, I mentioned that I had some personal things to take care of and would be away from the blog for a while. Well, the personal things that I was going to take care of didn’t end up being the things that were taken care of.

Mr Sage was hospitalised and I went along to a) look after him and b) make sure I got the official version of events from the doctor and not the Mr Sage-edit. The specialist is very pleased with his progress, but he is still in hospital and will likely be there until next weekend. I have had to come home as I need to get back to my day job.

Although it was an incredibly busy time, and I wasn’t able stick to my usual “500 words, 6 days a week” schedule, I did manage to get some writing done and my checklist now looks like this:

end-jan

I know, I know, it’s not much on from where it was last time I posted, but I actually am staying on track reasonably well. And I’m using all my experiences of the last 10 days as story fuel. Because that’s what life is for, right?
